Mark Fogel is the Chief Human Resource Officer for The Marcum Group and has responsibility for all aspects of Human Resources for Marcum’s family of businesses. Fogel was formally the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc. and their senior HR officer where he had global oversight supporting a population of over 9,500 employees worldwide. Mark is Longs Islands most decorated award winning HR executive and has been honored by SHRM nationally as their Human Capital Leader of the Year in 2007 and by HR Executive Magazine as an Honor roll recipient this past year (2010). Locally he has been honored by Long Island Business News as one of Long Islands 50 most influential business leaders (50 around 50). Mark holds the professional designation of SPHR (senior professional in HR) and GPHR (global professional in HR) and is one of only approximately 600 HR professionals globally with both designations. Mr. Fogel has been published in several national trade magazines and has presented at national and regional HR conferences. He is extremely active in the community having spearheaded several social and environmental business partner projects with LIVE (Long Island Volunteer Enterprise), American Cancer Society, American Red Cross and the Heart Association to name a few.
