Virginia Russell is the owner of VIP Basket Store and Living The Posh Life Boutique.  She is dedicated to furthering the cause of women and minorities in business.  Mrs. Russell is the former Chair of The Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition.  She currently sits on the executive committee of The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce. In 2008 Virginia became Chair of The Suffolk County Minority Business Development Council under the Office of Minority Affairs for SuffolkCounty.  Virginia is  a member of The National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Suffolk County Chapter and has served as Economic Development Chair and currently serves on its Membership Committee.  She also serves as a speaker for The Long Island Works Coalition.Virginia is involved in many aspects of the business and not for profit communities and has taken on a leadership role.   She currently serves as President of Enterprising and Professional Women - Long Island which is a member of The International Federation of Business & Professional Women. Mrs. Russell is also currently The Chair of The BPW International 80th Anniversary Gala Committee.  This event will bring together women from our ninety four member countries at a grand gala culminating with The Conference on the Status of Women held at the United Nations.  Long Island Business News has honored Virginia Russell for both 2007 and 2009 as one of the Top Fifty Most Influential Women.
