It might be a long way from Huntington to Honolulu but the tropical fun and festivities will be the same as the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual “Luau at Sunset” on Thursday, July 16 from 6:00-10:00 PM at Crab Meadow Beach on Waterside Avenue in Northport. This unique event, whose premiere sponsor is Outback Steakhouse, will feature live tropical music by the renowned Jayobe band, great food, exciting raffle prizes and an opportunity for Huntington’s business leaders, residents and community members to walk barefoot on our own tropical beach in Huntington while networking and conducting business with colleagues and new friends. Supporting sponsors include Verizon Communications, Walsdorf Insurance, Samuel Adams, Newsday, JVKelly Group and the Town of Huntington.
“Our Luau at Sunset is one of Long Island’s largest summer outdoor networking events which attracts hundreds of business leaders and elected officials. It provides an opportunity to step outside of the Board rooms and conference centers and to provide our members with a quality networking program and enjoyable time at one of our beautiful local beach,” said Bob Bontempi, Huntington Township Chamber Chairman. “It is also a great opportunity for our corporate members to host their annual summer parties, bring their staff and clients for a very affordable fee,” added Bontempi.
Registration for the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce “Luau at Sunset” is $85.00 per member and $95.00 for non-members.
