The Chamber is happy to open the New Year with a premier breakfast event that will benefit all.  In addition to our standard pre-event “networking” relationship building, meet and mingle, our panel discussion will add value and entertainment to the morning.

Representatives from Long Island’s most influential media sources will review the top news of 2008 and predict the important stories of 2009 in a special Long Island Media 2008/2009 Breakfast Program sponsored by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, January 15, 2008, 8:00 am at the Melville Marriott 1350 Old Walt Whitman Road, Melville.

A panel of journalists, reporters, correspondents and representatives from Newsday; Associated Press; News 12 Interactive; News 12; Long Islander; Huntington Times; WABC-TV; Dow Jones; Long Island Business News
CBS AM radio; WNBC-TV and the New York Times have been invited to join us.  Sponsors for the event include JVKelly Group; Home Depot and Nightingale & Nightingale, Inc.

“Our January Media Networking Breakfast is a great opportunity for Chamber members to speak with some of the most knowledgeable media representatives on Long Island.  They will have the chance to discuss significant news events -- from the war to the economic climate to the changing face of Long Island’s political climate -- that have affected us on a local, regional, national or global basis,” said Jim Kelly, Huntington Chamber Chairman.

Sponsorships are still available.  Tickets for the Long Island Media 2008/2009 Breakfast can be obtained by contacting the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce at 631.423.6100, or you can log onto their website at www.huntingtonchamber.com
