HUNTINGTON TOWNSHIP CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HOSTS GOVERNMENT REPORTS BREAKFAST

State and local legislators will address community concerns and provide an update on government activities at a special breakfast program sponsored by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, October 30th, at 7:30am at the Melville Marriott (1350 Old Walt Whitman Road, Melville, NY.)  It is an exclusive event with attendance limited to 130 people.  Each attendee will have an opportunity to enjoy an intimate roundtable discussion with our elected officials.  Elected officials invited to attend the program include: Congressman Steve Israel, Senator Carl Marcellino, Senator John Flanagan, Assemblyman Andrew Raia, Assemblyman James Conte, Legislator Jon Cooper, Legislator Steven Stern, Legislator Lou D’Amaro, Supervisor Frank Petrone, Councilman Mark Cuthbertson, Councilwoman Susan Berland, Councilman Stuart Besen and Councilwoman Glenda Jackson.

“Our Government Reports Breakfast is a great opportunity for Chamber members to hear first hand from their state and local representatives about major issues taking place that impact our businesses and industries, and we’re very excited to have been able to attract such a wonderful representation from local, state and national governmental branches to join us at this special program,” said James Kelly, Chairman of the Board for the Chamber. “This informative breakfast also provides our members with an opportunity to personally meet each of our elected officials and to celebrate the wonderful successes in our village, business corridor and waterfront and to discuss critical issues of importance to our community,” Kelly continued.
