The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce has recently created a Village Merchants Committee to work closely with Huntington merchants.  The purpose of the committee is to foster a beneficial partnership by providing programs and events that will increase business for shop owners within the town.

The first initiative to start off the summer season is the Huntington Village Merchants Sidewalk Sale.  The public is encouraged to enjoy the beginning of summer by strolling along the beautifully landscaped streets to visit the many shops, boutiques and restaurants this magnificent town has to offer.

The event will take place on Saturday June 14th, from 10 am – 5 pm on Main Street in Huntington Village from New Street to Prospect Street.   Participating merchants will host bargain sales and visitors will receive free baseball cards from Cow Over the Moon, free popcorn from Dalia’s and for those that are thirsty after all that “strolling,” free water from Community National Bank.

The Sidewalk Sale is another example of the quality of life initiatives coordinated by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce.  “This is a great opportunity to indulge in the best that Huntington has to offer,” explained Chris Erckert, Chairperson of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce Village Merchant Committee.  For further information or to join the committee, contact the Chamber at 631-423-6100.
