Business Leaders Graduate from First
Chamber/Adelphi University MBA Program
Huntington Chamber of Commerce Will Continue to Partner with Adelphi University to Offer Innovative MBA Program This Fall

With graduation season upon us, ten of Long Island’s Business Leaders have much to celebrate as they received their own prestigious MBA in Management Degree from Adelphi University which offered the MBA program in partnership with the Huntington Chamber of Commerce. The Huntington Chamber/Adelphi MBA Program is a unique and practical educational opportunity designed for working professionals.  Through the collaborative relationship between the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce and Adelphi University, members can earn their MBA.  The program is offered one evening per week and meets state, regional and national accreditation standards.

Adelphi's MBA is designed to serve middle-level professionals seeking advancement in management careers. To be able to perform with distinction in our global environment, you must be intellectually well-rounded and have the capacity to understand and appreciate the impact of your decisions on society and the role that society plays in forming your decisions.  You must know how to communicate effectively and must possess a thorough understanding of the legal, environmental, technological and social issues that affect an organization's operations.  The required foundation and advance core components integrate contemporary management issues and business fundamentals, thereby enabling you to acquire such knowledge and competencies. There has been documented research by the Bureau of US Labor Statistics that shows that a strong graduate business degree not only prepares a professional for a managerial position within a chosen field but individuals holding an advanced degree receive a higher salary compensation.

Students are now being accepted for the Fall program.  If you have been waiting for a convenient time to pursue your MBA, act fast. Information sessions will take place at the Chamber offices on Monday, June 28th and Tuesday, July 13th from 5:30pm- 7:00pm.  Please contact the Chamber office at 631-423-6100 to reserve your place or for additional information, please contact Maureen Leslie, Adelphi Assistant Director for Off-Campus Programs at
631-300-4356.
