Huntington, NY – April 4, 2011 - Leadership Huntington Foundation Program Director Trudy Fitzsimmons is pleased to announce a $200 tuition discount for its flagship Leadership Huntington training program. This offer is open to business leaders who are members of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce, as well as to not-for-profit staff and board members who belong to the Huntington Community Council.

Leadership Huntington’s mission is grounded in the belief that the best solutions to the complex challenges we face start locally with citizens who understand the issues, their communities, and their own vision and values. The Leadership Huntington (LH)  nine-month community immersion and educational Flagship Program focuses on developing the capacities of current and emerging leaders. Working intensely with mentors who hold positions of influence in diverse community, business, and government capacities, participants expand their leadership skills, build valuable relationships and activate involvement in community affairs.  The program has developed, connected and engaged leagues of current and emerging leaders in all sectors of our community and well beyond.
