Appellate Division, Second Dept. of the Supreme Court of the State of New York Reappoints Mayall to Committee on Character and Fitness

East Meadow, August 9 – Jaspreet S. Mayall (Dix Hills), a Partner in the Telecommunications, Bankruptcy and Litigation Practice Groups at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP has been reappointed by the Appellate Division, Second Department of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, to the Committee on Character and Fitness for the Second, Tenth and Eleventh Judicial Districts, for a second four-year term. The Committee is charged with investigating the character and fitness of applicants in the aforementioned districts for admission to practice as attorneys and counselors-at-law in the courts of New York State.

Mr. Mayall litigates construction and commercial matters and in bankruptcy proceedings he acts as counsel to trustees, debtors, secured and unsecured creditors.  He has significant experience in Trials and Appeals before New York’s State and Federal Courts; is involved in non-judicial workouts; and has expanded his practice over the years to include a unique concentration in the telecommunications industry.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University in 1988 and his Juris Doctorate from the Hofstra University School of Law in 1991. He is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. Mr. Mayall was also honored by Nassau County as an Indian American Leader.
