Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce Breakfast With Long Island Media IS Great Success

The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce held a Membership Breakfast on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the Fox Hollow Inn in Woodbury that featured representatives from Long Island’s most influential media sources. Topics discussed included the top news stories of 2006 and predictions for the important stories of 2007. In attendance were: Joye Brown and AJ Carter from Newsday; Carl Corry from Long Island Business News; Mike Martino from the Long Island Press; Cathy Mennella from Neighbor Newspapers; Peter Sloggatt from the Long Islander Newspaper; Doug Geed from News 12 Long Island and Lily Solzberg from Channel 55/WLNY. The event was moderated by Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce Vice Chairman of Events John Caracciolo.

Long Island's Brightest High School Students to Compete in the Fourth Annual Business Leadership Competition

The Young Professionals Chamber of Commerce ("YPCC"), a program of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce, hosted their Fourth Annual Business Leadership Competition at the Huntington Townhouse on Wednesday November 29th. Over 150 high school students from Commack, Elwood John Glenn, Half Hollow Hills East, Harborfields, Manor Plains, Northport, Walt Whitman, and Wilson Technological Center participated in this event.
