Jennifer Cassidy

Jennifer has dedicated the past 23 years of her career to financial services, where her journey
from a bank teller to her current role as Vice President and Senior Branch Manager at M&T
Bank in Huntington reflects her deep expertise across business development, commercial and
consumer lending, insurance, and investments.
Her commitment to the Huntington community extends beyond banking, with over 15 years of
leadership and service to the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce. A member since
2007, Jennifer has been a driving force behind the Chamber’s growth and impact. She has
served on the Board of Directors since 2012, became Treasurer in 2016, and was elected
Chairwoman of the Board in 2023. Jennifer’s leadership has shaped key Chamber initiatives,
including her roles as Chair of the Young Professionals Committee (2013-2016) and Co-Chair of
the Women in Business Committee (2018-2023), fostering opportunities for networking,
mentorship, and professional development for residents and business owners.
Jennifer’s professional excellence and community leadership have been recognized through
numerous awards over the years. She was named one of the 30 Under 30 by the Huntington
Township Chamber of Commerce in 2010 at their Celebrate Long Island Young Professionals
awards. In 2015, she received the Susan Kearns Special Work Award from J.E.T.S of America
for her dedication and outstanding service. Long Island Business News included her in their
prestigious 40 Under 40 list in 2016. Her ongoing contributions to the community were further
acknowledged with the Scott Martella Alumni Award from the Huntington Township Chamber of
Commerce in 2018, followed by her recognition as the Huntington Young Leaders Annual Gala
Honoree in 2019. Most recently, in 2025, she was an honoree for Town of Huntington’s Project
Play and St. John’s Camp, celebrating her commitment to the Huntington community.
Jennifer’s dedication to community well-being also includes her role as co-founder and
Treasurer of the MaryJayne Casillo Foundation for Cancer Research and Awareness, Inc.,
founded in 2008 to support cancer research and education. In addition, she is a proud 2014
graduate and Past President of Leadership Huntington, where she further developed her skills
in civic engagement and community leadership. Through these roles, Jennifer has made a
lasting impact on Huntington by advancing local business, supporting health initiatives, and
empowering the next generation of leaders.
